Take a right out of the Arima Onsen Station and you will see the Yukemuri Hiroba. There is a waterfall made to resemble steam in the center of the square. On the right is a statue of Taiko Hideyoshi, who loved Arima Onsen, and a statue of Nene facing him across the Arima River. The kappa statue in Yukemuri Hiroba was a gift from Jozankei Hot Springs in Sapporo erected in 1992 in commemoration of 20 years of partnership.
