A 3 meter-wide stone decorated with sacred straw rope located on Taiko Bridge. At 5 meters tall and 19 meters in circumference, it weighs around 130 tons. It is said that when the deity worshipped at Tosen Shrine, Kumano-Kusubi-no-Mikoto, tossed a stone at some ruffians, it grew very large. It is also known as the stone that Onamuchi-no-Mikoto tossed to pray for recovery from disease. From this time on it has been illegal to enter Arima riding an Ashige horse, holding a shigedo bow or white feathered arrows.
